Bronze Athame

When it comes to witchcraft, there are a number of essential ritual tools. And one of the most important of these is the athame knife. also known as the witch’s blade. Some of the other important magical tools include the wand, the chalice, and the pentacle.

When you set up an altar, you’ll usually place most of these on it, perhaps with candles, incense, and other items. But, while most of those remain on the altar while you do your work, you’ll use your athame actively throughout. Here’s your guide to what an athame is and when you should use it.

The witchcraft bit

Bronze is made from the earth using Malachite and Cassiterite these are the two basic ores that are used in the manufacture of bronze this is when the magic happens.

Smelting

Smelting it's a process that is achieved by melting rock ore to get the base metals from these mineralized rocks, to produce The base metals that are copper and tin.

Casting

Casting is the next in this remarkable process, mixing two or more metals is called an alloy. Putting copper and tin in a Crucible in different percentages placing them inside a furnace with the aid of charcoal and bellows heating them to a very high temperature. Then when the time is right you can pour the molten bronze into a mould.

Finishing

Finishing is the next process of this grinding/sanding and polishing. Then you have to pick and shape the wood for the handle of the amazing Athame and put the chosen rivets in. The End
